Don Paterson (Scotland, 1963) is a poet and a jazz musician. He made his poetry début in 1993 with Nil-Nil and has won several prizes since. His latest collection, Landing Light, was very well received. A reviewer once described Paterson’s work as poetry that combined post-modern playfulness with a sense of longing for the transcendental.
