Gintaras Grajauskas [Lithuania, 1966] grew up in Klaipeda, a port on the west coast of Lithuania. He studied jazz at the State Conservatoire and, apart from poetry, is active within drama, prose and essay writing. He works as a journalist for the local newspaper and since 2000 has organised a poetry festival in Klaipeda. Grajauskas sings and plays bass guitar in the band Rokfeleriai.
